The Graduate Student Government is a council of all the Graduate Student Associations (GSAs) at the 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ.

TheÌýGSGÌýhas two goals at the University:

  • One is to foster a sense of community among the graduate students.
  • The other to represent that community and its interests at DU.

GSGÌýis theÌýDUÌýgraduate community's representative student government body. As YOUR representative, we are here to serve YOU and advocate for YOUR interests and concerns.Ìý

Kadi

President | Kadidiatou Mampoya

Kadidiatou Mampoya is a Colorado native who was raised in the city of Aurora. Kadi Ìýis a Second – Year International Studies student who serves as the President within Graduate Student Government. Kadi enjoys traveling the world and connecting with others everywhere.Ìý Kadi hopes to inspire the community around her and build fostering connections here at DU.

ÌýKadi is a proud University of Colorado Alumna, where she studied political science. ÌýKadi is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.Ìý

Florian

Vice President | Florian WeinzierlÌý

ÌýFlorian Weinzierl, 27 years old and originally from Munich, Germany. Florian is currently pursuing his MBA at the Daniels College of Business, building on prior experience in private equity, consulting, project management and finance with firms like BMW and KPMG. Florian is passionate about strategy, sport management, and business transformation. Outside the classroom, he is a big sports guy—playing hockey and soccer is part of my life. Florian also ±ð²ÔÂá´Ç²â’s reading, traveling, and staying active whenever he can.Ìý

Zach

Director of Student Groups | Zach HeadleyÌý

Zach is a dual master’s student in the Daniels College of Business in Business Information and Analytics and Applied Quantitative Finance. He is a graduate of DU and works in Housing and Residential Education on campus. He is excited to grow the graduate student groups through this new role.ÌýÌý

Emma

Director of Communications | Emma O'DellÌý

Emma O’Dell is originally from Houston, Texas, but moved to Idaho around five years ago. She is in the Teacher Education Program (TEP) at the Morgridge College of Education and works as a student teacher with juniors and seniors at Denver South High School. Emma enjoys listening to music and watching movies in her free time. She is excited to be on the GSG board and be able to build a graduate community.

Director of Community Engagement | Carmen CustodioÌý

ÌýCarmen Custodio is a first-year ²Ñ²¹²õ³Ù±ð°ù’s student with the Graduate School of Professional Psychology, studying International Disaster Psychology: Trauma and Global Mental Health. She is excited to serve as Director of Community Engagement for DU’s Graduate Student Government, where she works to foster connection across programs. ÌýÌý

Director of Professional Development | Shivani NaraharishettyÌý

ÌýShivani Durga Naraharishetty is a second-year graduate student at the 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ's Graduate School of Professional Psychology, pursuing an M.A. in International Disaster Psychology: Global Mental Health and Trauma. As the GSG Director of Professional Development, she is committed to expanding access to meaningful career-building resources for underserved and underrepresented graduate students.Ìý

Her focus this year is on developing inclusive workshops and volunteer opportunities that empower students across all disciplines.Ìý

Shivani is currently applying to medical school and plans to pursue dual paths in mental health and medicine. Her long-term goals include earning her LPCC and ultimately becoming either a Pediatric Neuropsychiatrist or a Trauma Surgeon in the ER—fields where she hopes to continue her advocacy for trauma-informed care on both local and global levels.Ìý

Tendai

Director of Finance | Tendai GorejenaÌý

Tendai Gorejena is a second-year master’s student in Accounting, Technology & Analytics at the 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ. As Director of Finance for the Graduate Student Government, Tendai leads budgeting and resource allocation to strengthen graduate programs and elevate the graduate student experience. Tendai also works as a Graduate Assistant in the Daniels College of Business’ Department of Management, where they support academic operations and data-driven projects. Tendai’s interests span financial stewardship, ethical leadership, and using analytics to inform decisions.Ìý

When not on campus, you’ll find Tendai spending time with friends and exploring new places.Ìý

Linda

Director of Social Media | Linda EgbubineÌý

ÌýLinda Egbubine is the Director of Social Media Marketing for GSG and a second-year graduate student in the Environmental Sustainability Program at DU. She also holds a ²Ñ²¹²õ³Ù±ð°ù’s in Development Studies from Erasmus University Rotterdam.Ìý

Linda’s academic and professional background centers on sustainability, climate change adaptation, environmental justice, and gender inclusion.Ìý

At DU, she is passionate about building community among graduate students and creating spaces that foster collaboration, well-being, and collective growth.Ìý

When she’s not studying or organizing, Linda enjoys a good Karaoke and traveling.Ìý
