Club Mountain Sports is the home for DU’s most adventurous student organizations. Whether you’re carving down a mountainside, scaling rock faces, crushing singletrack, or paddling through whitewater, we provide opportunities to get outside, build community, and push your limits.​

Alpine Club

One of DU’s oldest and most iconic clubs. Organizes hikes, backpacking trips, back-country skiing, and climbing outings throughout the year.​

Climbing Club​

For those who love vertical adventures. Whether you’re into bouldering, sport, or trad climbing, we provide gym sessions, outdoor trips, and competitions.​

Club Ski​

Focused on competitive skiing in slalom, giant slalom, and freestyle disciplines. We train at local mountains and race in collegiate circuits.​

Cycling Club​

DU’s hub for road, gravel, and mountain biking racing. Join for social rides, race training, and trail maintenance projects.​

For skiers and snowboarders who live for powder and terrain parks. We travel to resorts across Colorado and beyond.​

Who Can Join?​

All current DU undergraduate & graduate students. Most clubs are open to all skill levels – whether you’re a seasoned pro or a total beginner.​

Membership Details

  • All clubs charge dues to cover competitions, trips, gear, and events.​
  • No membership is required to attend introductory events – come try it out!​
